2012 September 27: New Issues: British Post Office, Royal Mail have announced that they will be celebrating the Paralympics by issuing a set of six first class stamps in a specially designed miniature sheet following the conclusion of the Games that will feature every single London 2012 Paralympics GB gold medal winner.

2012 July 24 to September 9: Postmarks: There will be fourteen special handstamps used during the Olympic and Paralympic Games including a postmark for Olympex 2012 at the British Library (the Olympex postmark can be ordered through the Society of Olympic Collectors).

2012 July 24 to August 12: Cachet: Olympex 2012 cachet during OLYMPEX 2012 at the British Library.

2012 May 31: New Issues: British Post Office, Register by 31st May 2012 to receive a free presentation folder for London 2012 philatelic souvenirs including GB Gold medallist stamps.

2008 October 8: New Souvenir: SOC issues an Olympic and Paralympic Heroes London Parade SmartStamp cover celebrating the triumphant return of British athletes from the Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

2008 July 24: New Issue: British Post Office issues a souvenir sheet and a First Day Cover that commemorates the Centenary of the London 1908 Olympic Games.

2008 July 1: Article: July's Philatelic Bulletin promoting SOC's SmartStamp that commemorates the Centenary of the London 1908 Olympic Games.

2008 April 20: Publications: New book published by the Society of Olympic Collectors: ‘The 1908 Olympic Games, the Great Stadium, & the Marathon a Pictorial Record'

2007 May 17: New Issue: British Post Office issues a souvenir sheet of definitive stamps called "Memories of Wembley Stadium" that commemorates the London 1948 Olympic Games amongst other sporting events. A miniature sheet is also being issued that displays the arch of the new Wembley stadium. These are being issued two days before the FA Cup Final, of the 19th May 2007, which is the first major football event to take place there since the stadium was rebuilt.

2006 February 25: SOC OPEN MEETING at Philatex between 10:30am and 12:30pm in room 22. Displays of London 1908, 1948 and 2012 will be there.

2005 July 6: 2012 Olympic Games to be hosted by London. Results announced to supporters in Trafalgar Square.

2005 May 13/15: Juan Antonio Samaranch Stops by the SOC Stand at the Olympic Collectors Fair in Lausanne.

2004 June 28: New Issue: French Post Office issues Olympic FDCs at Salon & Colombes.

2004 June 26: Olympic Torch Relay in London (Wimbledon to Trafalgar Square).

2004 June 26: New Issue: British Post Office SOC Postmark commemorating the London Torch Relay. This is the only postmark to commemorate the torch relay and the only postmark issued to commemorate the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championship in 2004 by the British Post Office.

2004 June 25: New Issue: French Post Office issues a folder with miniature sheet at various Post Offices along the Torch Relay route.
